Remove Yourself Online - Part 2

First, there isn’t a way to make yourself completely disappear, as what goes online, stays online. But you can clean up what is online about you to some extent.

This will be a multi-part post starting with people searching websites

Radaris

  1. Visit https://radaris.com/
  2. Search for yourself
  3. Click on View Profile
  4. Visit https://radaris.com/control/privacy
  5. Using the URL from step 3, fill out the form (use a disposable email address)
  6. Follow the instructions that are sent to you via email
  7. Confirm the email address
  8. Supposedly it is going to be deleted

USA People Search
It is an online search engine and a fast and easy way to find out information about people. Our USA people search allows you to explore millions of U.S. public documents to help you find the info you are looking for.

  1. Visit https://www.usa-people-search.com/manage
  2. Fill in your email address (use a disposable email address)
  3. Accept the terms
  4. Click Begin Removal Process button
  5. Located your profile
  6. Click View Details
  7. Click Remove Record
  8. You should receive an email confirmation

PeopleFinders
PeopleFinders.com is a public records business located in Sacramento, California. The company offers a variety of public records including address histories, phone numbers, and background checks.

  1. Visit https://www.peoplefinders.com/
  2. Locate your profile
  3. Click View Details
  4. Wait……..
  5. Accept “I Understand – please build the report”
  6. Do not purchase anything
  7. Visit https://www.peoplefinders.com/opt-out
  8. Take the URL from step 6 and fill out the form
  9. Submit a request (use a disposable email address)
  10. You should receive an email confirmation
  11. Click the link in the email
  12. Click the Send Request button
  13. STOP – Do not click the “Remove my info from over 20 websites” button (this is a paid service)

PeopleFinders operates under several different labels including PublicRecordsNow, PrivateEye

PeekYou
PeekYou is a people search engine that indexes people and their links on the web. Founded in April 2006 by Michael Hussey, PeekYou claims to have indexed over 250 million people, mostly in the United States and Canada.

  1. Visit https://www.peekyou.com/
  2. Search for your profile
  3. Click on your profile
  4. Visit https://www.peekyou.com/about/contact/optout/
  5. Fill out the form using the details from step 3 above
  6. Submit form
  7. Reply back to the email sent to you by PeekYou

TruePeopleSearch
TruePeopleSearch is a 100% free people search, reverse phone lookup, and address lookup service. Enter a name, phone number, or address and get back results including current and past addresses, phone numbers, relatives, friends, roommates, email addresses, and business ownership.

  1. Visit https://www.truepeoplesearch.com/removal
  2. Submit a request (use a disposable email address)
  3. Search for your profile
  4. Click the “Remove This Record” button
  5. Follow the instructions in the email they sent you
