Remove Yourself Online - Part 3

First, there isn’t a way to make yourself completely disappear, as what goes online, stays online. But you can clean up what is online about your to some extent.

This will be a multi-part post starting with people search web sites

  1. Visit https://24counter.com/
  2. Locate your profile
  3. Visit https://24counter.com/opt-out/
  4. Use the info from step 2 above to fill out the form
  5. Submit the form

Clustrmaps
ClustrMaps is a compact visitor tracker, designed for general web and blog use. They give you an easy way to show off your visitor locations, and they deliver over 7 million widget views per day!

  1. Visit https://clustrmaps.com/
  2. Search for your profile
  3. Visit https://clustrmaps.com/bl/opt-out
  4. Use the data from step 2 to fill out the form
  5. Enter your name exactly as it appears in step 2
  6. Use your real email address (they already have it)
  7. Use your real address
  8. Click the Next Step button
  9. Check the details you want to remove
  10. Click the Apply button
  11. Do Not click the “Remove My Info Now” button (this is a paid service)

Cyber Background Checks

  1. Visit https://www.cyberbackgroundchecks.com/removal
  2. Use the information from step 2 to fill out the form
  3. Search for your profile
  4. Click “This is me…Remove My Record”
  5. Follow directions in email sent to you
  6. Click the Confirm button

GladIKnow

  1. Visit https://gladiknow.com/
  2. Search for your profile(s)
  3. Click the Opt Out/Remove My Data link at the very bottom
  4. Scroll down, about half-way on the page click the “Remove My Information” link
  5. Your data is supposed to be removed with in the next 3 business days

YellowBook

  1. Visit https://www.beenverified.com/f/optout/search
  2. Locate your profile
  3. Click the arrow next to your profile
  4. Enter in your email address (use a disposable email address)
  5. Click the Send Verification Email button
  6. Follow instructions in the email they sent you

Fast People Search

  1. Visit https://www.fastpeoplesearch.com/removal
  2. Enter in your email address (use a disposable email address)
  3. Search for your profile
  4. Click the View Free Details button
  5. Click the red Remove My Record button
  6. Follow instructions in the email they sent you
  7. Do NOT click on the “Click the red “Remove My Data From Other Public Websites” button (this is a paid service)

*** Always use a disposable email address if you have to create any account with any of these services ***
