Remove Yourself Online - Part 4

First, there isn’t a way to make yourself completely disappear, as what goes online, stays online. But you can clean up what is online about you to some extent.

This will be a multi-part post starting with people searching websites

xlek

  1. Visit https://www.xlek.com/optout.php
  2. Fill out the form  (use a disposable email address)
  3. Submit the form (not sure if anything happens)

CheckPeople

  1. Visit https://www.checkpeople.com/opt-out
  2. Fill out the form
  3. Find your profile
  4. Click “Remove Record”
  5. Fill out the form (use a disposable email address)
  6. Submit Request
  7. Follow the instructions in the email they sent you

Truthfinder

  1. Visit https://www.truthfinder.com/opt-out/
  2. Search for your profile
  3. Click Remove This Record
  4. Fill out the form (use a disposable email address)
  5. Follow the instructions in the email they sent you

PublicRecordsNow.com

  1. Visit https://www.publicrecordsnow.com/
  2. Search for your profile
  3. Visit https://www.publicrecordsnow.com/static/view/optout/
  4. Fill out the form
  5. The form will not work, they will NOT remove your information and they state this on their website

Nuwber

  1. Visit https://nuwber.com/
  2. Search for your profile
  3. Visit https://nuwber.com/removal/link
  4. Use the information found in step 2 to fill out the form
  5. Click the Opt Out button
  6. Use your email address found on the page from step 2
  7. Click the Remove button
  8. Follow the directions from the email they sent you
  9. Do NOT click the purple “Remove My Info Now” button (this is a paid service)

*** Always use a disposable email address if you have to create an account with any of these services ***
