Update: Sarah Jane Cavanaugh

If you recall back in September 2022, I made a post about how Sarah Jane Cavanaugh, stole large sums of money from many veteran organizations. Well, I have some good news, she finally got sentenced.

She received her sentence and it is 70 months in federal prison to be followed by 3 years of federal supervised release. Plus she has to pay restitution to all victims perpetrated by her fraud totaling $284,796.82.

I know that those of us veterans who have been following this case are happy that she got busted, but six years is not nearly enough time for this woman to serve. We are not only talking pretending to be a veteran, and defrauding all those groups and organizations, but she pulled the wool over the eyes of everyone that she met and talked to. She didn’t just dress up as a Marine for a party, no, she completely assumed the entire identity and lived that identity the entire time. She became an injured combat, Marine. I hope she rots in jail, BITCH!
