Reading time less than a minute
Part Time
I have returned to work semi-full-time. I’m currently taking Wednesdays off as recovery days, I’m so exhausted when I get home for the night and if I work my normal schedule, I can’t function on Friday. Got to love Cymbalta.

Welcome to the Average Joe Weekly blog. This is basically my place on the web where I can help spread some of the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years. I served 10+ years in the Marine Corps on Active Duty, but that was some 25 years ago.

Don’t be in too much of a hurry to return to work. I know you feel like you have people counting on you and the work will keep piling up but the one thing that I learned from all this is that you are truly replaceable and work is never as important as your health and well being. I’m 100% disabled at 29 years old, but when I was working, I was a go getter and climbing the ladder quickly, then BAM! MS hit me like a ton of bricks and brought me to a stop in a minute.
I’m trying, but it is very difficult for me. But I totally understand what you are saying.
Smart move! SS90 is again right on the money here, don’t push it or you will later regret it. , I shoulda taken my own advice on this many years ago. Now take it easy on your days off.
