So how in the world do they get around Google ReCAPTCHA?
CAPTCHA, or “Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart”. Simple, this is like a “pay per lead” setup, where real people are digging up websites and manually filling in the forms. Since ReCAPTCHA is designed to stop bots, and these are live humans, well… I think you see where I’m going here. Pay per lead is where the person submitting the form gets paid if the form leads to a contact or a sale. So the more forms they fill out the more likely they will get a lead and get paid.
So Who Is Eric Jones?
I’m sure that there are many Eric Jones’ in the world, but there is not a single person associated with these SPAM attacks by the name of Eric Jones. These emails are simply designed to get you to click on the links (which I redacted) so they can sell their software/services.
