Hidden Camera Detection - Part 6

This is the sixth post in the Hidden Camera Detection series. The first five posts can be read here (#1, #2, #3, #4 and #5). This time I’m testing Hidden Camera Detector – Spy Camera Finder (by Digital Apps and Games).

Hidden Camera Detector – Spy Camera Finder (by Digital Apps and Games), had 4.7 stars at the time of this post and reviews like “Hidden camera detector is an amazing app it can help us to find the hidden camera. Highly recommend it .”; “Hidden camera detector is a very useful app . I like it and highly recommend this app” and “Hidden camera detector is an amazing app. I love it”. What it did for me, was, well, it turned my screen green and nothing else. It did not detect any of the cameras. Because of this, I have no screenshots from this app.

Between the time I performed my testing and the time I made this post, this particular app was removed from the Google Play store.

Hidden Camera Detector (by Sifie Apps)
Hidden Camera Detector by Sifie Apps shocked me as it seemed to actually detect my test cameras so I need to do further testing which I will report here on the blog. Stay Tuned, we might have a winner here!

When I went back to do further testing, this app was removed from the Google Play store. I’m really sensing a pattern here.

Hidden Devices Detector (by Zaib Soft)
Hidden Devices Detector by Zaib Soft is ad driven, but they are very short and can be exited without issue, so the ads weren’t that annoying. And to top it off, two in a row as this app actually might have detected my test cameras and I need to do some more testing, which I will of course report on the blog. And like the app before it, it disappeared from the App Store.

This is the end of the hidden camera or device detector testing, at least with Android Apps. Next up will be the K18 Professional GPS/Anti-Spy Bug Hidden Camera RF Detector.
