Dino Jelusick

*** WARNING – This is Hard Rock ***

Dino Jelusick is fairly new to the music scene, well at least the professional music scene. Dino is a Croatian rock singer, and musician. He had a solo career that started in 2006, but no one had really heard of him. He joined Trans-Siberian Orchestra in 2015.

He has worked with many as vocal backing including Jeff Scott Soto (Journey, Yngwie Malmsteen‘s Rising Force, Talisman, and Soul SirkUS), George Lynch (of Dokken and Lynch Mob fame) and in 2021 he joined Whitesnake replacing founding member and lead singer David Coverdale who is retiring at age 69.

Here is Dino, Mike Portnoy, and Joel Hoekstra, playing Jefferson Starship‘s 1979 hit ‘Jane’ (filmed and compiled during the COVID-19 pandemic, so they all did it remotely)

Dino has one hell of a voice and Mike Portnoy (drums) is a trip, I love watching (and certainly listening) to him.

Welcome to the Average Joe Weekly blog. This is basically my place on the web where I can help spread some of the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years. I served 10+ years in the Marine Corps on Active Duty, but that was some 25 years ago.
