Laughter is the Best Medicine - Part 4
Comedy has always been a big part of my life, in fact, growing up I was the class clown. I found that laughing was a great way of dealing with life’s problems. So at an early age, I learned to love comedy, and thus I learned to love to laugh. I grew up listening to the classics like George Carlin, Robin Williams, Richard Pryor, and as I got older Eddie Murphy and even older Dave Chappelle. I’m not a huge fan of Chris Rock, I can’t get over his voice for some reason, and after a few minutes, it starts to irritate me like nails on a chalkboard. I can also do without Jerry Seinfeld, I just don’t find him funny at all, he is more whiny than funny in my book. I remember watching George Carlin on pay TV while I was babysitting the kids across the street after they went to bed.
George Carlin - The Seven Words
George Carlin - War of The Words
Robin Williams - The American Flag
Robin Williams - Weapons of Self Destruction
So when things get rough, try some laughter and enjoy a good chuckle.

Welcome to the Average Joe Weekly blog. This is basically my place on the web where I can help spread some of the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years. I served 10+ years in the Marine Corps on Active Duty, but that was some 25 years ago.
