Laughter is the Best Medicine - Part 5
Rounding out my list would be classic Steve Martin and Rodney Dangerfield. I remember listening to my brother’s records of Steve Martin’s “Let’s Get Small” and “A Wild and Crazy Guy”. Some of those are still my favorite Steve Martin skits. I remember listening to Rodney Dangerfield’s “I Don’t Get No Respect” on an 8-track tape over and over. One of my all-time favorite all-time skits was Bill Cosby’s “Noah“. As I got older I really loved Eddie Murphy in RAW and Delirious

Welcome to the Average Joe Weekly blog. This is basically my place on the web where I can help spread some of the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years. I served 10+ years in the Marine Corps on Active Duty, but that was some 25 years ago.

Too funny, I remember being like 10 years old and hearing Eddie Murphy for the first time. My sister had the RAW cassette tape, it was funny, but most of it was over my head. Thanks for sharing, it brought back good memories. “Roll Eddie around for a little be, he be alright, Now that’s a fire!”
I was a little older when I first listen to Eddie, but I’m a little older than you. Cassette tape, talk about “Throw Back Thursday” 🙂 I think I first heard it on LP, not sure if you know what that is.
