Marine Veteran Tapped for Trump Running Mate

Marine Veteran James Donald (J.D.) Vance has been tapped by former President Trump to be his VP running mate for the upcoming presidential election.

J.D. enlisted in the Corps in 2003 and was deployed to Iraq as a combat correspondent. He was assigned to the Public Affairs section of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, MCAS Cherry Point, N.C.

J.D. is currently a junior Senator from Ohio, being elected in 2022 and sworn in Jan 3rd, 2023.

J.D. wrote a bestselling book, Hillbilly Elegy, which has been turned into a Netflix movie.
