Happy Thanksgiving

AverageJoe and his team of guest bloggers, along with his family and friends are thankful this Thanksgiving for many things. This infographic from the MilitaryBenefits.info website sums it up for us. Please be safe this Thanksgiving and keep our troops in your thoughts.

Did You Know?

Butterball, a popular turkey company, opens a turkey hotline each November and December to answer any turkey-related questions you may have. Founded in 1981, the Turkey Talk-Line went from receiving a modest 11,000 questions that first year to answering more than 100,000 questions across the U.S. and Canada every holiday season.

Presidents Trump, GW. Bush, Clinton, and Bush all ate Thanksgiving dinner with the Troops. Click on each of the President’s names to see a video of them eating and hanging out with the troops. Presidents Biden, President Obama (Obama only made phone calls) are the only modern war-time presidents to not visit the troops overseas for Thanksgiving. President Reagan was a peace-time President but he did eat with the troops stateside.

This Thanksgiving, remember those that can't come home this Thanksgiving
