Good Samaritans
OMG, this shit right here really gets me, and it’s not for the reason you think either. I’m one of those people that every time I pass a police officer on the side of the road, I always look to see if they need help. I think it is something that was instilled into me as a Marine for 10 years. If I ran across this incident, I would have most certainly stopped to aid assistance.
As for recognition, I’m one of those that would pass. I would call the Police Department to make sure that they are not having any issues with me helping and then tell them “thank you for the opportunity to help”.
