Unprepared Food Ordering at the Counter

This one is probably one of my biggest peeves of mine. I can’t stand it when someone is at a restaurant, We will use McDonald’s for this post, and they can’t decide what they want to order. It is not like the menu changes, they have offered the same thing for many years now. Sure the menu number may change, and the price certain change, but they have sold the Big Mac® nationwide for over 50 years now (since 1968), the same with the Quarter Pounder (since 1971). They have been selling hamburgers and cheeseburgers since day one (1948) and believe it or not they have sold the Filet-O-Fish for over 50 years as well (1962). That means that they have also sold fries and soft drinks (Coke products since 1955) from day one.

McDonald's orginial menuSo why in the hell do you roll up and have to read the entire menu and then ponder your choices forever? They have been selling the same milkshakes since the early days of McDonald’s, the Hot Apple Pie since 1968, and Chicken McNuggets became a menu item in 1983, right after the McRib in 1982. Since these items have been sold for more than 20 years, there isn’t a need to take so much time to ponder

Egg McMuffin since the mid-’70s, the Happy Meal began being served in 1979, and the McFlurry started in 1995. I mean it isn’t like McDonald’s is like Taco Bell, which seems to change its menu, every time I order there.

You are really starting to piss me off when I pull up behind you and you take 5 minutes to order and then when you pull up to the window, you have to search for a credit card or cash. Then when you pull up to get your food, you have to check everything that they give you and then order an add-on or two, usually a shake or McFlurry.

The moral of this post is just order your damn food and move on, please.
