Pet Peeves

Introduction

I’m going to start this off with a brief introduction and then I’m going to talk about why I wanted to blog about this.

My name is Steven Peeven and I’m very easily pissed off by other people and their stupid actions. I saw the Family Guy episode about Peter Griffin and what grinds my gears, so I decided to turn this into a series of blog posts. AverageJoe said that I can use his blog for my posts, so here I am. My first and second posts will be about Peter Griffin and then I plan on talking about all my pet peeves.

Peter Griffin – You Know What Really Grinds My Gears

The Peter Griffin (Family Guy) – You Know What Really Grinds My Gears started as a segment when Peter Griffin runs into Tom Tucker from Quahog 5 News, during a rant about porn to a clerk at the Lackluster Video store.

Peter goes on to rant about the status of pornographic videos in American society, and that in fact pornography is not condemned in the bible. He also rants that the Bible is too long.

This all started because the video store (formally known as Sal’s Video), is now owned by Lackluster and Lackluster has a no-porn policy.

Tom Tucker is so impressed with the rant that he gives Peter his own nightly news segment. Peter’s new job lasted one episode – Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story segment, “Stewie B. Goode”. (source)
