Update - Ghosted

First I want to say, I’m sorry for ghosting everyone recently. I have had a rough start to 2020 and I just haven’t felt much like writing.

I rolled into 2020 with a dental issue that was causing me a great deal of pain. It was really strange to me, I haven’t felt much on my left side in years now and suddenly, I’m having some of the most intense pain I have ever felt and it is on my left side.

After several trips to the dentist and the ER, I finally found out that a root canal that I had done in 2018 was infected and causing my pain. After seeing several specialists, (who knew that there were so many different types of dental specialists) I had a treatment plan, the tooth had to come out.

Fast forward, the tooth is out and healing well. The root of the tooth had actually penetrated into my sinus cavity and that is causing a few minor issues, then there is the bone regeneration therapy, which is going well now also.

On top of that, I also ended up with an upper respiratory infection and sinus infection that I just can’t seem to kick, today is like day 9 or 10. I have been on antibiotics more this year than I have been off of them, the same goes with prescription pain medication.

I also had an MRI to look at the cause of my knee pain and it turns out that I have a torn meniscus which will require surgery.

None of this is anything major really but put it all on top of my existing neurological issues and it has almost been too much to handle all at once.

Today is March first and I had a follow-up with the periodontist who pulled the tooth and he isn’t happy with some of the progress. The sinus infection is still hanging on, but I’m managing to keep it out of my chest for the most part. The knee is fine as long as I’m careful how I use it and how I rest my leg.

So, No, I have been ghosting you all, I just haven’t been feeling it lately. When I get home from work, I’m pretty much done for and that is all she wrote basically.
