Rheumatology Appointment

I had an appointment with my Rheumatologist the other day because I have been having major pain from my Costochondritis. Well, that is one appointment I wish I didn’t have.

She switched my muscle relaxer again, and I agree with that choice. She wants me to stop the Tramadol entirely and replace it with Hydrocodone throughout the day. And I really don’t know how I feel about that one. But it is a two-week trial, so we will see.

The other wonderful news is that she wants me to go get some tests done because she is afraid that my recent swollen glands are a result of Lymphoma. Ugh, not another fucking thing that I have to contend with, and this time, it is the freaking big ass “C”. I again, am not so sure how I feel about that one. Right now, I’m not making any decisions until I get an official diagnosis.

Wish me luck

Update: I didn’t make it through the entire two-week cycle. It just wasn’t working for me, but I really appreciate the fact that she was willing to try something else. So many doctors just want to do what is in the book and nothing else.
