Cymbalta Round 2 - 20mg Second Week

my-calves-are-on-fiiiiiire

Today, I have been on it just shy of the two-week mark (so 20 mg a day still) and I’m having several side effects that I think are attributable to the Cymbalta, one being dry mouth and increased drowsiness (though the Gabapentin does cause drowsiness, it has increased since starting Cymbalta). At times I will feel faint for a few minutes as well. The strange dreams have started as well this time around. A new side effect that I don’t recall having last time is a burning sensation in my left calf muscle. It feels like I have rubbed Ben Gay on it. I’m also having some short periods of blurred vision and I yawn all the freaking time now. But the worst problem is one that I had the last time as well, which is the grinding or clenching of my teeth, it drives me freaking nuts.

I had a ton of acid reflux much of the week and I noticed that I was hot all week and the sweating has started, ugh. I can’t really say too much about the early part of the week, we got snow and I shoveled a ton of snow and I was really tired, but I’m sure that is related at least partially to the snow shoveling. I start 40mg tonight, I’m so excited, NOT!
