AllianceRX Walgreens Prime
I have had enough of AllianceRX Walgreens Prime specialty pharmacy, I’m so over them. I called on the 22nd of November to refill my Enbrel injection, but the phone system said that there was a lengthy hold time, so I decided to check out their website and see if I could order online. I logged on quickly placed an order, and set the date for delivery. A few minutes later I got an email message from them stating that my order was received and pending insurance review.
I didn’t think much more about it until four days later I received an email stating that it was time to place a reorder for my Enbrel. So I went online and sure enough, there is no record of my order that I placed on the 22nd.
I called the day after Thanksgiving to actually talk to a person this time and they said that there is no record of the order I placed on the 22nd. They placed my order for me, but it arrived the day before my injection and well, that is a little too close for comfort. I’m so glad my insurance company is ditching AllianceRX Walgreens Prime specialty pharmacy in favor of CVS, who in the past did a good job of specialty prescriptions.
I just can’t understand that with today’s technology you can’t have a functioning website order system, one that sends SMS messages would be great as well. Get with the modern times, AllianceRX Walgreens Prime.
