I Joined The Marines for 3 Days
Nope, not me, I joined for 10 years 3 months, and 20 days, but who’s counting? This post isn’t about me but about some of the things the Corps is doing to attract today’s youth.
The Corps is working the social media platforms and on YouTube, they are inviting some influencers to come train with the Marines.
Meet Tanner Braungardt
Tanner Braungardt is 23 years old and is a professional free-runner and trampolinist. I’m not exactly who in the Corps or what made him a good choice, but I think it worked out. He along with two other influencers accepted the challenge to train for three days beside Marines who were attending Marine Security Group (MSG) training at MCB Quantico.

Welcome to the Average Joe Weekly blog. This is basically my place on the web where I can help spread some of the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years. I served 10+ years in the Marine Corps on Active Duty, but that was some 25 years ago.
