As sad and funny as this is, this is a real representation to all you civilians, of what it is like the first time a recruit trips the obstacle course. Now add drill instructors at every obstacle yelling at you to keep moving. You get a leg up, you don’t get a push, you have to do it on your own, and yes the very first time, it is not only scary but very intimidating.
