My Hen Said Ouch

We have three backyard hens, two are ISA Brown’s and one is a Barnevelder. The Barnevelder is about a year older than the two Browns. The egg on the left is the normal size and color for our Barnevelder (Stock). The egg in the center is the normal-sized egg and color for our Browns (Sugar and Spice). The monster on the right is the product of one of our two Browns and that is a big Ouch.

For those of you that are not in the know, hens actually release the egg from their ass. Internally, they have two separate systems for egg products and waste, but externally, it all comes out of their butt hole and that is a big OUCH!!!
