This is not a new song and not even a new cover. This is heavy metal band Disturbed covering Simon & Garfunkel‘s 1964 hit, ‘The Sounds of Silence’.
David Draiman‘s voice on this cover is absolutely amazing. There is also a version of just his vocals –

Paul Simon‘s career still continues today, while Art Garfunkel‘s faded in the late 70s and he was never able to gain fame or popularity again.
