So I Blacked Out

This happened on 3/18/19 – It just took me some time to get it online

It started with a tickle usually in the back of the throat, just like it usually does. It then progressed to a cough and then a strong cough. I have had this happen to me many times and once before I blacked out, so I have learned to get to my knees quickly to avoid falling. As I move to my knees. Suddenly I’m coughing out of control and I start to feel faint or dizzy, not really sure. My vision gets fuzzy around the edges and then closes into the center, leaving me with a narrow field of view; this is followed by a tingling sensation in my extremities and then in my torso followed by numbness and my muscles tighten right before my body involuntarily starts the shaking, twitching and this time it becomes an uncontrollable convulsion for a few seconds. A kaleidoscope is moving through my closed eyes and I lose all touch with the world and I’m out. I came to with my wife looking over me, I was on the floor and my back hurt. I had blacked out and hit the corner of the bed frame.

It is such a strange feeling to blackout, and lose a moment of your life and it is 100% out of your control. It is not a feeling that I like. This isn’t my first time either, it happened about three years ago at work. I fell hard onto to the floor, and hit my chair on the way down. My co-workers asked what was that noise and I told them that I tripped.

From the sounds of it, things are really starting to get worse for you. I will keep you in my prayers. I know some of this was probably from your Cymbalta as I’m convinced that Lucifer himself made that medication. Maybe it is time you try CBD Oil, it is really working for me and I’m starting to cut back on my Gabapentin now, I’m so excited. I can actually knit a little now without being in too much pain.
    Blessings

  3. So, let me address the elephant on the blog, have you told your doctor about blacking out? As you are a man and a Marine, I’m going to guess that answer is a big resounding “NO”.
