Preparation for Enbrel

In order to get my first injection, I had to get a blood test so they could check my blood chemistry and also make sure that I don’t have any major infections as Enbrel is a Biologic and they work by suppressing your immune system to help reduce the effects of RA. But suppressing your immune system makes you more susceptible to infections.
