Cymbalta

My neurologist has prescribed Cymbalta in the hopes that I can get off of Gabapentin, so basically trading one devil for another. The list of side effects for Cymbalta is long and I mean long take a look (from WebMD):

COMMON side effects
If experienced, these tend to have a Less Severe expression

  • Chronic Trouble Sleeping
  • Constipation
  • Diarrhea
  • Dizzy
  • Drowsiness
  • Dry Mouth
  • Excessive Sweating
  • Feel Like Throwing Up
  • Loss Of Appetite
  • Low Energy
INFREQUENT side effects
If experienced, these tend to have a Severe expression
  • Feeling Faint
If experienced, these tend to have a Less Severe expression
  • Abnormal Dreams
  • Altered Interest In Having Sexual Intercourse

  • Feeling Agitated

    I always find it so funny that the list of side effects for a drug is worse than the symptoms they are supposed to treat.
