Cymbalta - First three weeks
As stated earlier my neurologists prescribed Cymbalta 30 mg for me for the first week and then 60 mg from then on. When I was on the 30 mg, my family told me that they could see a difference in my moods and I was more like the old me. However, I had some side effects that I thought were worse than the pain that the medication was supposed to stop. The goal was to get me to 60 mg of Cymbalta so I could stop taking Gabapentin. For me, I was still taking 1200 mg of Gabapentin a day and 60 mg of Cymbalta.
When I was at the 30 mg dosage, I was having some light dizziness, problems with dry mouth, not sleeping, and low energy. When I got to the 60 mg dosage, I noticed that the sleeping problems got worse as did the funky ass dreams I was having. I did not stop yawning and I had some minor vision problems and I was grinding my teeth. But the worst part was the night sweats. I was literally dripping wet all night long.
