Comfortably Numb

I’m sitting here today behind the keyboard in a very comfortable state of numbness. It is a good thing too. I have had a busy week at work, trying to catch up from taking off Wednesdays, so I could use a day like this. It is really nice to feel this way. All the pain is gone, I feel almost like I have a slight buzz going on actually. Too bad it didn’t affect my typing. It took several minutes to type this already, I spend way too much time wearing out the backspace key. Go figure I used to be able to type around 85 words per minute with 95% accuracy. Today, I’m lucky if I can type 30 words per minute with 75% accuracy. Ugh.

When I was on Cymbalta I often felt like I was in a zombie, so I can totally understand where you are coming from on this one. All I can say is enjoy the ride, it is far better than pain.

I would pay sometimes to be comfortably numb, hell, I would pay just to be comfortable sometimes.

  3. That is one of my favorite states to visit, the state of Comfortably Numb!
