Spotsylvania is on Reelz TV - Episode 56

First and foremost, I want to thank you all for the outstanding work you do every single day. Feel free to seek me out for any assistance that I may be able to offer. If you need a cold drink on a hot day, just knock and I or someone from my family will come to your aid. You have a thankless job, that many people do not understand. Thank you

Spotsylvania County, Virginia (where I reside) is being featured on On Patrol: Live, from December 2 through Feb 4, 2023 (we have been extended for a while longer). On Patrol: Live is on Reelz and if you don’t have cable, then it is available on Philo. Philo is a digital streaming service, for just $25 a month.

New episodes coming on Fridays and Saturdays.

This episode was S01E56 broadcast on February 11, 2023. Camera crews tagged along with 1ST Sergeant Ray Pittman and Senior Deputy Chris Staats.

** I will only mention the names of individuals who were arrested. Those arrest records are available online in several places and in the local news media as well.

This episode lasted 3 hours with Spotsylvania being featured one time, at the very end of the episode.

This episode was strange to say the least. Very few incidents were watched all the way through, which obviously happens since this is mostly a live show. Spotsylvania was not featured on this episode for some reason. It could be because there wasn’t anything interesting going on, or it could be the end of our ride.

Daytona Beach, Fl

We open at Daytona Beach, Florida at the Speedway, where there is a report of kidnapping. We have the signal drop a few times during this episode and the first time it happened was during this incident, but we still were able to follow the story. It turns out that the guy who called 911, said that his girlfriend was abducted. Come to find out, he never met the women in real life, only talked with her on the phone, she was never at the racetrack, he just received a call from the “kidnappers”, and they wanted $150 in gift cards, and they will let her go.

This is a very popular scam, and this guy was the target. The cops break the news to him, and we leave this incident.

Much of this episode was “good will” and that is so awesome in my mind. Helping people out when they need a little assistance.

Hot Potato

We jump around from incident to incident, one was a police raid in Volusia County, Florida, however the guy freely comes out of the house, and we never get much more on this incident. THen off to Beech Grove, Indiana, where we are looking for someone, but we end up cutting before we get too many details. A traffic stop in Berkeley County, SC for a traffic stop and a gun is found, but we move to a noise complaint in Richland County, SC. It starts to get hot as the guy is trying to argue with the cops, but a female comes out and applies logic and we move on.

We hop to a bad check, an assault at a hotel and a welfare call for a 5-year old boy supposedly at home by himself. Then to a man with a warrant wandering down the road.

Volusia County, FL

Recorded earlier in the day, we have a disturbance, where the guy is denying hitting the female. He ends of getting arrested for hitting the women, and in the search of his vehicle, Deputy Phoenix Langdon, find several large containers of white and yellow powder. One of the containers tests positive for fentanyl, but the man in custody, repeatedly states that it is just baby powder and Gatorade, he must state that a good 20 times.

Beech Grove, In

Yet another stolen U-Haul at a Walmart, and supposedly this is their fourth call of the day for stolen U-Hauls at this very Walmart. I’m not sure what is going on here, but we do watch the felony arrest of the driver. Nothing but junk in the box of the truck.

Richland, SC

We finally get to see the reunion of CPL Kenny Fitzsimmons and Daniel, the young man that he pulled from the bridge. They great with a huge hug and they talk about the day and brighter days ahead and how they are all family now.

If this wasn’t on TV, it would never be known what happened. These types of things happen all the time. Thank you to all the police for what you do every single day.

Richland County, SC

Master Deputy Shannon Tolman spotted a car crash along the side of the road. She stopped to aid assistance. Once the fire department is on scene, she interviews the drivers and is told that one of the drivers, had tossed something out of their car. She starts her search and discovers a partial bottle of alcohol and a bag of weed.

As this is the final day of Spotsylvania being on “On Patrol:Live”, this will conclude my coverage of it here as well. Thank you for your support.

It seems that most people do not understand the laws about videotaping or taking photos. Basically, the law is that if it is in public and anyone can see it, then the photographer/videographer does not require permission to film. Here is an article about Photographer’s Rights.
