Spotsylvania is on Reelz TV - Episode 50

First and foremost, I want to thank you all for the outstanding work you do every single day. Feel free to seek me out for any assistance that I may be able to offer. If you need a cold drink on a hot day, just knock and I or someone from my family will come to your aid. You have a thankless job, that many people do not understand. Thank you

Spotsylvania County, Virginia (where I reside) is being featured on On Patrol: Live, from December 2 through Feb 4, 2023. On Patrol: Live is on Reelz and if you don’t have cable, then it is available on Philo. Philo is a digital streaming service, for just $25 a month.

New episodes coming on Fridays and Saturdays.

This episode was S01E50 broadcast on January 21, 2023. Camera crews tagged along with Deputy Jessica Delage and Deputy Tristen Burnett. They featured two incidents in this episode.

** I will only mention the names of individuals who were arrested. Those arrest records are available online in several places and in the local news media as well.

This episode lasted 3 hours with Spotsylvania being featured first in this episode in the second hour.

In the New York City studio, with Dan Abrams are Corporal Carli Drayton and Deputy Dylan Lee both from the Berkeley County, SC Sheriff’s Office. Corporal Carli Drayton is a beauty pageant winner.

Tonight's Theme

It seemed like the theme of the night was vehicle accidents and strange people. Wait until you see the creepy women in the trees, it’s something right out of the Blair Witch Project.

Incident 1

Deputy Tristen Burnett pulled over a vehicle in the Weis Markets parking lot off Spotsylvania Ave. There was a definite language barrier happening, as Deputy Burnett tried to administer a breathalyzer. I think he was more than fair and kept giving the guy retried. Long story short, Joaquin Diaz-Ayala was arrested for suspicion of DUI. He will be taken to jail, where he will have access to a translator and retake the tests to confirm his blood alcohol content levels.

The twelve-year-old boy in me giggled:

Deputy Tristen Burnett – “Wrap your lips around it”

Incident 2

Deputy Tristen Burnett is heading across the county from Courthouse Road near Hood Road, to Plank Road, looking for a vehicle going the wrong way. He locates the car in a ditch across from Laurel Hill Memorial Park and Funeral Home.

This is where he meets what Social Media is calling “The Blair Witch Couple”. Philip Depue is practicing his 5th amendment rights and isn’t talking, beyond stating that he missed his exit, to which Deputy Burnett replied “You missed your exit? There are no exits here to miss. This is not 95 or the interstate!”

The woman is just creepy as hell in the background in the woods. Reminded me of this meme.

Both Philip Enright Depue and Candace Nicole Johnson were arrested on alcohol-related charges.

Volusia County, FL

Volusia Sheriff’s Deputy Brady Bergeron responds to a call, where this man called 911, because of the “damn Mexicans” shit on the bumper of his car.

Dan Abrams coined the phrase “bumper dumper”

A Bumper Dumper

Richland County, SC

Master Deputy Lemontre Williams responds to a vehicle accident, the vehicle is on its side with the driver still inside. The fire department extricates the driver of the van. It doesn’t take long until the picture is clear to see that he wasn’t a victim, but the cause of the crash.

Daytona Beach, FL

Officer Roger Lawson (K9) is responding to an armed robbery with a knife call. They quickly locate the thief and let’s just say he is interesting.

This guy, who robbed someone, a black man with two black officers and one white officer, trying to milk it for the cameras:

When asked how he got there, he teleported
“What y’all want me to shit my pants?”
“I used the teleporter machine”
“Called my sneakers”
“I teleport, bitch, I don’t give a fuck

When they have him in custody and are transporting him to the car.

Bad guy:

“Man, I can’t walk; Man, I’m so tired from y’all abusing me; this is abuse”
“Stop abusing me police officers …. Daytona Beach, Florida”
“Stop abusing me police officers …. Daytona Beach, Florida”
“They will blow this fucking town up”
“If y’all don’t stop this”
“Take these fucking handcuffs off”
“This abuse bro”
“These n***** are lying their ass off”
“I just (unintelligible) on my way back”
“They arrest me before they did”
“Nick Fury, you chump”
“You better bail me out, Nick”
“I don’t give a shit”
“It ain’t not even a misdemeanor to use the bathroom”
“This alert is illegal”
“I’m too big”
“This ain’t incredible, man”
“Incredibles are like”
“look, I’m too big”
“I can’t stand up”
“I’m telling you, they can’t lift me up, Fury”
“You better tell them to take their hands off me”
“What is this”
“What…. what’s the problem?”
“What’s my charge?”
“Misdemeanors”
“What’s the misdemeanor about?”
“Trespassing?”
“Tell me”
“Tell me before I go”
“Nick Fury?”
“You better bail me out, Nick Fury”
“He’s the Incredible Hulk”
“And I’m gonna tell you this”
“Y’all are just a treason”
“All y’all”
“You’re playing with the Incredible Hulk, dude”

Richland County, SC

Sticking to the accident theme of the day, K9 Specialist Kory Mayo is responding to an officer-involved accident. He arrives at the intersection of North Pine Road and Farrow Road.

Deputy Kameron Locklear was taken to the hospital for an arm injury and has been released from the hospital
The driver of the pickup truck was Gabrielle Wilson and has been charged with DUI and driving while her license was suspended, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Berkeley County, SC

Cpl BJ Nelson stops a vehicle and quickly discovers that the driver has been drinking beer out of a Chick-Fil-A cup. He also discovered that the driver is under 21. He makes him pour the beer out and call his mother to pick him up.

Beech Grove, IN

Kudos to Officer Libi Keisler from the Beech Grove Police Department, for helping with a disabled vehicle, she pushed it out of the middle of the road and into a parking lot.

Volusia, FL

Deputy Djhoun Knight responded to hit and run. It was a strange call or at least what we got to see about it. Someone was loading a jet ski onto a trailer attached to a van. A red pickup truck hit the van and then took off. They eventually found the red truck and the driver.

Beech Grove, IN

Sticking with the theme, a group of teenagers is in a minor car crash. The scene for this one is short for some reason.

Crime of the Night

It seems that most people do not understand the laws about videotaping or taking photos. Basically, the law is that if it is in public and anyone can see it, then the photographer/videographer does not require permission to film. Here is an article about Photographer’s Rights.
