Digging The New Bourbon Bottle
I have to say, I like the new Basil Hayden’s Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey bottle. I picked one up at the ABC store last week, and they told me that they had been out of stock for some time because they were making changes to the bottle and labels.
To start with, it is a thicker bottle, it is now cork sealed, and has a new label, and the copper band around the bottle is made of thicker copper and is wider, it looks great!!!
If I had one complaint, I would say that I’m not a fan of the plastic safety seal around the neck and cork, it was difficult to remove, but I fully understand the purpose and I’m sure that it isn’t as difficult for most people.
