"Birds Aren't Real" Conspiracy Theory Gone Wrong

THis guy will kick your assFrom time to time, I will attempt to go down a few rabbit holes of a conspiracy. Now, this doesn’t mean that I believe or disbelieve these theories, but instead, I wanted to explore them and start a dialog and see where it goes.

I had never heard of this one before, but I ran across it today and I figured that it is a good start for this month.

This theory is that birds aren’t real and they are actually drones for the Government to spy on citizens.

Watch this video first and then we will climb down the rabbit hole together.

Never mind the part about how this little scrawny guy will kick your ass (1:45 in the video), I mean that could be a post all in itself, lol. (above)

This all started as a joke and now some people honestly believe it.

In 2017, Peter Mcindoe created the satirical conspiracy theory. The concept for this is that all birds in the United States were exterminated by the federal government between 1959 and 1971, and replaced by look-alike drones used by the government to spy on citizens.

The problem is that many of the supporters actually believe this shit. So much so that a recent rally in New York City, had more than 2,000 people in attendance.

“It’s taking this concept of misinformation and almost building a little safe space to come together within it and laugh at it, rather than be scared by it,” McIndoe said.

He also said, “And accept the lunacy of it all and be a bird truther for a moment in time when everything’s so crazy.”

In this conspiracy, it is believed that the power lines, actually charge the drone’s batteries.

Sometimes, you just can’t make this shit up.
