I Got a Coke Problem
No not that kind of Coke, I’m talking about Coca-Cola. I don’t drink coffee and my caffeine intake in the morning is usually a sugar-free zero calorie calorie-flavored drink with caffeine in it, on some days I treat myself to a Coke.
A couple of days ago, I was on my way to work and I wanted to get a coke and some breakfast. I decided on McDonald’s, thinking that I could get a $1 Coke and something to eat. I pulled into the drive-thru and waited. There was one car in front of me and I guess he was ordering the entire menu, as he didn’t move for a good 4-5 minutes. He finally moved forward and I gave my order and I moved forward and we waited and waited until I got tired of waiting and I drove off. I then stopped at the local Dunkin’ and the drive-through was packed I know from experience that the Dunkin’ drive-thru is super slow, so I parked and went inside. I grabbed a Coke from the refrigerator and I waited in line to pay and grab a couple of donuts. I know that the employees saw me, and several even walked by me, but after two to three minutes in line, left the Coke on the counter and I walked out. I just want a freak Coke, how hard is it for a local business to actually serve their customers? If it was a Sunday, I would have stopped at my usual breakfast on the road place, which is Chick-fil-A. At least there I know my order is accurate and fresh and they will serve me very quickly and with a smile.
