Theater of Pain
I recently went to see “Annie” at the local dinner theater and let me first state that the entertainment was spot on, the acting was good, the singing was excellent and the experience was good all around the Emmy Award-winning actress Sally Struthers starred as Miss Hannigan. The only problem was the pain that I kept experiencing from sitting in one spot for a long period of time. I did, however, discover a new bourbon that I like. I went to the bar prior to the show to get a mixed drink to chill and relax. They gave me a list of several bourbons and I decided to try Basil Hayden‘s mixed with Coke. I have to say that I like the small-batch and single-barrel bourbons over the more mass-produced varieties.
So me and my drink head back into the theater to enjoy the show. The first act was wonderful, and besides the pain from sitting in one spot for an hour and 20 minutes, the show thus far was better than expected. I decided that I needed another drink to help ease the pain for the second act. Again it was another Basil’s and Coke and the second act was just as good as the first, with the exception of the most adventurous aroma of the elderly lady that literally filled her Depends and the whole place really started to stink. I felt bad for the lady, but I felt worse for those that had to sit close to her. It was by far one of the worst smells I have had to smell in my life. But besides that, it was a very positive evening at the theater.

I love theater but hate being in pain and being so uncomfortable while “enjoying” them. I haven’t seen Annie yet, but I really want to. You probably shouldn’t be drinking while on your medications, that is a major no no.

I love Annie, I have seen it four times in the theater, once on Broadway and dozens of times on TV. My favorite is the 1982 version of the movie with Aileen Quinn as Annie Mudge.
I enjoyed the play and I’m fairly sure that I have seen all if not most of the movie versions as well.
never been to a dinner theater like this before but i have seen several plays and annie was one of them so far it is my fav.
I went to a concert last year (2019), I enjoyed the hell out of the concert and the company that I was with, but the pain was just about killing me. I even took more of my medication than I normally take which helped me a little, but not enough. I feel your pain.

First, let me say that my wife and I loved watching Annie when we saw it last year. Second, I can really share your pain on this one, I was so sore when I watched it.

I would love to try CBD, but I actually hold a Government job and I have to pass urine tests. But the day they make it legal and authorized, I want to give it a try.
How often do they test, it may be worth it.
Missy, I really would love to give it a try, but as I said, I work for the Federal Government and I hold a high-security clearance so that isn’t an option for me.
I took the test today and I will have the results in a few days. I’m shocked that they charge so much money for a test like that.

I did actually, I got the results on Friday, I just haven’t been online since then. I’m not very pleased with them, the “Marijuana Metabolite” is off the charts, actually. I’m confused by this. The bottle states ND THC, (No Detectable) THC, but it certainly appears to be detectable. I’m pretty sure that you said that you are a Federal Employee, so I don’t advise that you take it or you will fail your drug tests. I’m sorry, I was really hoping it would work for you.
