Someone Had A Bad Day

For those who aren’t sure what these photos are about, these are cores from a borehole. Most multi-story buildings have concrete floors (not just the first floor, but all floors). In order to run utilities from floor to floor, a borehole is drilled and these are the concrete cores, which sadly show network and power cables that were cut when the holes were drilled. It will be very expensive to repair as they will have to break up the concrete floor around the cable so they can repair them or re-run them.

Often the boreholes can’t be avoided, but this mess certainly could have and should have been avoided. It simply required someone to look at the other side of the damn wall.

Ouch

And how does this happen you ask? Well here is one of the ways it can and does happen.

Just stupid
