Corona Virus (Covid-19)

The CureI’m pretty sure the world has lost its mind over this. At the time when I wrote this post, there have been 101,583 people worldwide that have contracted this virus out of a total world population of 7.8 billion. There have been 3,460 deaths so far, worldwide. Alright, that isn’t that bad, is it? In the U.S. alone, there had been over 1,300 deaths in 2019, caused by the influenza virus (the flu). That is just the U.S. and that equates to 2.6 million infections, resulting in over 23,000 people being hospitalized.

But if we look at Swine Flu (H1N1) which infected some 61 million people in the U.S. alone and caused 12,469 deaths. What about the Spanish Flu, which killed an estimated 500 million people worldwide, which is about 1/3 of the population in 1918? So yes, Coronavirus is serious, but is it as bad as the media is claiming?

A great video that explains all this is here
